The gravy was delicious!! The poutine had a large portion of cheese and gravy that was complimented well with thick and delicious fries. The fish was not at all greasy and had great flakiness. It doesn’t feel heavy when you are finished with the meal. The atmosphere is quaint and the decor is very cute with the pictures and items about and from England

Food is really delicious. Freshly made and fast for being freshly made. Service is good. Lady at the counter had a good vibe. I was guessing maybe an owner because she seemed all-in. If she’s the brunette people are referring to as rude, I got the opposite. Maybe it’s a different person. Older guy cooking seemed like it was his jam. I’d expect him to not be a ray of sunshine if he covers the counter, but I’m cool with that. As for flavor. Quality haddock: generous portion of fish and chips. The breading is good. Crunchy breading and nicely cooked fish. Light on seasoning, but that’s not always a bad thing so you can do what you want flavor wise. I am a malt or hot sauce fan on fish usually. She recommended the tartar sauce. I tried all 3 and she was def right! It’s clean. The kitchen is open, which I like and it’s clean. Enough seating to be comfortable but more of a carry out vibe, but much is the only reason I have atmosphere 3 stars but overall a 5. Very nice mom and pop place!

We had the haddock, halibut, chips and green salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and super soft and moist inside. Highly recommend this location.

I've been on a fish 'n' chips hunt in the GTA. Heritage doesn't show up on any of the usual lists at all. I found this place while on the hunt from a successful home sense jaunt in Oakville. It's a very British decor and the solo lady working at the end of a Sunday was really efficient and friendly. The haddock was delicious and the batter very light and there wasn't any hint of oil in my food. This suggests that they change the oil frequently and don't "stretch" it out, especially at the end of the day. The Onion rings were delicious but the hallmark were the battered pickles. Tres delicious! I dipped them into a cup of curry sauce which was quite flavourful and not bland like many other equivalent ones. I was very impressed and will return here again.
